A Purple Dress

I'm taking some time out...spending it with Mr C...the sun is shining so we're making the most it before I go off to Enterprise Club.

I've had this pattern from Prima magazine for years...The Classic Shift Dress.

I love all things classical and elegant.

Here's my version. Plain purple with a slight sheen.

I'm happy with the finish...except it's too long. It sits just at the wrong height on my legs. The plan is to shorten it. Undoing work...not my favourite thing to do...which is why it hasn't been done yet :)
