A Garden Angel

I consider myself blessed in life. I have a friend who always knows just when to phone me.

The moment I feel blue my phone starts ringing. I'm never blue for long. By the end of the call I'll have a plan in place and a smile on my face again.

I made this Angel for her. She's a Garden Angel from Tilda's 'Sew Pretty Homestyle' book.

I loved making her as there are so many different parts and techniques.

Dressmaking for the trousers, skirt and jacket.

Embroidery on the wings and slippers.








She's ready to do some work in the garden. Wearing an apron with a patch on it.  Wrapped up warm with a scarf and her jacket tied tightly with a belt.
